“They extradited the truth with me” Initial observations about “Integrated Action” in Colombia
Jun 092009

This would be the first bilateral meeting between presidents Barack Obama and Álvaro Uribe since Obama was sworn in last January.

According to the Colombian government’s announcement posted a little while ago, “all issues are on the table,” including aid, free trade, counternarcotics and counterterrorism.

Uribe will also be in Providence, Rhode Island on Thursday and Friday to speak at the annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. His agenda includes meetings with the new White House “drug czar,” Gil Kerlikowske, and Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D).

alla va el lavaperro (antes de Pablo Escobar) a rogar migajas y a entregar a Colombia y su gente a la maquinaria de capitalismo salvage de los barbaros decadentes norteamericanos

Obama is the UN of PR firms but no real leader…

the people of this country voted for this man to CHANGE this country and its evil ways but all we hear so far is rhetoric, especially when it comes to the genocide and rape of Latin American societies and their natural resources
“War on Drugs”.. what a cruel joke to wrap your evil with morality.. then again very appropriate and in tune with the Inquisition, the Crusades etc all hypocrisy and evil let lose upon humanity…

I think it’s ironic that Uribe is stepping into a messy labor dispute in Providence, R.I., with a picket planned for outside the conference he plans to address, given how important it is for him to appear friendly to unions in his effort to get Obama behind the Free Trade Agreement.
